As part of International Bat Night, join us for an evening dedicated to our extraordinary Irish bats. Led by a National Parks and Wildlife Service guide, learn about the ecology of these superhero flying mammals, listen to their clicking sounds through a bat detector, spread with us the urgent need to protect their habitats. This event will start with an illustrated presentation about Irish bats followed by a bat walk around Corofin Village. It will last approximately 1.5-2 hours. Please dress appropriately for terrain and weather (including warm clothes and good footwear). Bring a torch and a bat detector if you have one. Meeting is at the Burren National Park Information Point, Corofin, Co. Clare.
Booking required at firstname.lastname@example.org or 065 682 7693.
