Delve into the limestone origins of the Burren and find out why it’s literally a nature hotspot! Discover the difference between a doline and a turlough, explore wildflower meadows and hazel woods, and learn how such a mix of different habitats is vital for wildlife.

This walk is 1.5km long and takes 1.5-2 hours over some rough and rocky terrain – appropriate footwear and all-weather gear are essential! Booking required – contact burrennationalpark@chg.gov.ie or 065 6827693 for details.
